Kille Nivati, the fort is constructed by great Maratha ruler Shivaji. The fort occupies 2 acres of hilly area, situated on a high hill at a village Kochare in Vengurla Taluka. The rampart wall is stout, around which there is a ditch. Nivati Fort is located at a distance of 35 Km from Vengurla. Nivati fort is a small fort. Watching the scenery surrounding the fort is a thrilling experience. The natural pollution free environment, clear crystal water of ocean makes Nivati an unforgettable travelexperience. Bhogave and Kochare are two popular villages which are close to this beach. Fort also commands the fine view of Bhogave beach.

This beach is famous for its dolphin-site. You can have a rare, pleasant view of dancing dolphin-sightseeing. Here dolphins are accustomed to human beings. Fishermen seen launching their traditional boats and way of fishing with nets daily into the sea is an interesting feature to watch on this beach
