Shri Rameshwar temple
Lord Rameshwar (Lord Shiva) is a resident deity of Malvan. When your vehicle enters in malvan city, at end of kumbharmath slope, you will see, three to four old temples boast at left side of the road, the last one is Lord Rameshwar temple. First one is Lord Narayan (Lord Vishnu) temple. The Goddess Sateri (Sister of Lord Narayan & Rameshwar) temple is at middle.
Rameshwar temple built before 1000 years ago. It is said that savkars & mechants (rich men) of Malvan built these all temples of Dewoolwada as a sanctity.
Now days, renovation of Lord Rameshwar temple is carried over by people of Malvan. This temple has rectangular shape with two spacious mandap (halls) supported by plane rounded pillars. A front doorway is covered with porches, and the openings of these porches are ornamented with pillars and arches. The sanctum internally a square & externally crowned with a graceful tower. The self existent Shivlingam is housed in the sanctum (inner section) of the temple. The Shivalingam is seen in a depression on the floor of the sanctum; water constantly oozes out from the Kalash on the top of the Shivalingam.
Everyday, devotees keep coming to the temple and prayers go on.
